Begin With Right Placement Of The Orbi

✓ Place it centrally. By centrally, we mean at a place that you consider the center point of your home or office. Because placing the main unit in the center will allow for better communication with the nodes as well as it will offer uniform signal transmission.

Initial Steps

✓ Head to the URL blank of the browser. Fill up orbilogin.com. Click Enter. As an alternative, you can use orbilogin.net or 192.168.1.1 as well. 

✓ As you click enter the welcome page opens up. Tap Next. Now read the guidelines. To agree, put a tick mark in the box and tap Next. 

✓ The Orbi detects the internet connection. Once it completes the detection, click on Next. 

✓ Finally, for a seamless experience with Netgear Orbi setup, you can now activate child nodes. 

✓ When you Orbi detects its satellites, tap on Next. Type the admin password. Choose any two security questions, give answers to it and tap on Next.

Configuration Via Orbi App

Start off by launching the Orbi app on your gadget. Make sure your device is linked to the default network. The details for it are written on the Orbi’s sleeve. Don't have access to the Orbi app? If yes, no issues there are multiple ways through which you can gain access to it. One you can visit orbi-app.com and from there fetch the app. Next depending upon your device, you can download it from the Play Store or from the App Store. Now new users create Netgear accounts whereas the existing ones login using accurate data. Once done, select Set up an Orbi option thereafter tap on Enable camera and Scan. Scan the code from your router's bottom. Tap Continue.
